Frederic A. Duggan, owner of the Imperial Porcelain Works, which was destroyed by fire lat Sunday, purchased the Excelsior pottery on Tuesday. He took possession the next morning and began the rearrangement of the plant for the purpose of electrical porcelain manufacture. The Excelsior was up to a year or so ago known as the East Trenton Pottery, being operated by Wm. H. Cook and Geo. W. Page the factory has been devoted to the production of sanitary goods. Whether Messrs. Cook and Page will remain in the pottery business is at present doubtful.
