UNION FORMED
Now Seeking Contract
With Insulator Company
At Victor
VICTOR — The formation of a new A. F. L. Electrical Workers Union at the Victor Insulators, Inc., resulted in a meeting of union officials with plant officers Wednesday in the hopes of successfully negotiating a contract.
The union officials were reported to be seeking a closed shop contract covering nearly 235 employes. They also are asking wage increases and plant-wide seniority rights.
Officials of the union are: President, Floyd Romeiser; vice-president, Bovie Antonio; secretary, John Henehan; treasurer, Ernest Peglow; financial secretary, Earl Romeiser.
The union was organized here by Ralph J. Clark, Teamster's Joint Council official; Ted Naughton, international organizer for the A. F. of L. and Thomas E. Maguire, general A. F. of L. representative. The Victor unit was officially chartered as Local B-1168 under the Electrical Workers charter for industrial organizations.
