NEWS BRIEFS.

The recently-incorporated California glassworks has assumed the business and factory of the California Glass Insulator Company, in the harbor district. W. A. Farmer is president of the new concern and I. Orcutt is secretary. R. P. Prisk [sic] Frist, the old manager, brought an attachment against the concern, and the happy outcome of the troubles of the old company means that the plant will be started up again with a large force.
