Through Ontario.
The Canadian Dressed Beef and Abattoir Company is the latest corporation organized to go into the cold-storage and abattoir business. The company is formed with a capital of $ 1,000,000, and is expected to operate at the new stockyards at Toronto Junction. The provisional directors are: — Gideon Grant, F. W. Halliday, H. R. Frost, G. McDonald, A. E. Oxley, S. T. Sutton, L. J. Kent, G. W. Meyer and William Mackey, all of Toronto.
The Electric Development Company of Ontario, Limited, which has received incorporation, has a capitalization of $6,000,000. The head office will be in Toronto and the provisional directors are: — W. H. Templeton, C. V. Bennett, J. W. Rose, A. McKenzie and E. G. Long, all of Toronto.
The King Edward Office Building Company, Limited, mention of which has before been made, has received The capital is $600,000, and the provisional directors are: — Col. James Mason, Col. H. M. Pellatt, Frederic Nicholls, E. R. Wood and S. G. Beatty.
The Davidson & Hay, Limited, has been formed, to take over the wholesale grocery business of Davidson & Hay of Toronto, and also to do a wholesale wine and liquor business. John I. Davidson is President of the company.
To carry on a business as manufacturers and dealers in glass, and to acquire the assets of the Diamond Glass Co., the Diamond Flint Glass Co., Limited, has been incorporated, with a capital of [dollar:$1,600,000], the head office to be in Toronto. The provisional directors are: — H. J. Wright, John Payne, R. Credicott, W. J. Gilchrist, and Henry Toynbee of this city.

S. Boone Dredging & Construction Co., Limited, $100,000, Toronto; Stratford Hotel, Limited, $50,000, Stratford; the Brown Manufacturing Co., Limited, $40,000, Midland lumber dealers; the Windsor Truck & Storage Co., Limited, $40,000; the Horse Shoe Quarry Co., Limited, $40,000, St. Mary’s; the Ottawa Fish & Game Co., Limited, $25,000.
Permission is given to change the name of the Boyd, Bower & Brumell Co., Limited, to Boyd, Brumell Co., Limited, and the name of the Ferrol Company of Toronto and Markham to the Ferrol Co., Limited.
The stock of the St. Catharines Mineral Springs & Sanitarium Co., Limited, is increased from $40,000 to $100,000 and of the Woodstock Wind Motor Co., Limited, from $75,000 to $150,000.
