OBITUARY


Wm. F. Hamilton.

Mr. Wm. F. Hamilton, a former resi­dent of Toronto, died in Sarnia General Hospital on Aug. 31st from typhoid fever, at the age of 25. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hamilton, 47 Givens street, and had only been away from Toronto since the middle of June. He was a well known and popular glass blower at the Diamond Works here, having been employed there since he was eleven years old. He was working at Pr. Edward when he took sick. He went to the hospital on Aug. 27, but died four days later. The funeral took place from 47 Givens street to St. Mary’s church and thence to Mt. Hope Cemetery on Tuesday morning. Comrades of the deceased were pall-bearers, Messrs. M. Radey, J. Cameron, R. Finn, J. O'Donnell, Davis and P. Dowd.
