John H. Croskey, aged 66 years, died suddenly at his residence in Pittsburg, last week of neuralgia of the heart. Mr. Croskey became prominent in the glass trade through his several inventions for the manufacture of glass. He was formerly employed at the Ripley glass factory on the South Side, where he had charge of the mold-making department. During the past two years he had been devoting his time to a contrivance for manufacturing insulators, the work being conducted at the experimental plant of the H. L. Dixon Co., in Carnegie, Pa. He is survived by his widow and one daughter.
