Electric Porcelain Works Burned.

Plants No. 1 and 2 of the Electric Porcelain Works, East Liverpool, O., were destroyed, plant No. 3 slightly damaged and the upper rooms of the office building which adjoined plant No. 2, badly wrecked as the result of a fire which started in the slip house of plant No. 2 last week. Barring the kilns in the two destroyed plants which appear but slightly damaged, all the machinery, the buildings and both the manufactured articles and those prepared for shipment have been destroyed. The loss is estimated at $50,000, which is covered by insurance. The plant will be rebuilt as soon as the insurance is adjusted.
