The Anderson Electric Porcelain plant, destroyed by fire here several weeks ago, may not be rebuilt. George O. Anderson, the principal owner of the concern, has received a flattering proposition from Clarksburg, W. Va., to remove the works there. It is understood that in addition to being offered not only a site and a former pottery plant, he is guaranteed gas at 3 cents per thousand cubic feet for operating. Mr. Anderson was in Clarksburg last Monday investigating the proposition. The insurance on the plant burned here was adjusted during the past week.
