A consolidation of the Anderson, G. F. Brunt, Ohio and Electric Porcelain companies here, the plants of the United States Porcelain Co., Findlay, O., and New Cumberland, W. Va., and three companies in Trenton, N. J., under the name of the General Porcelain Co., incorporated under the laws of New Jersey, was effected in this city this week. While rumors have been prevelent for some time that this action would ultimately occur, the fact was not definitely known until deeds transferring the properties of the local concerns in the merger were filed in court. The officers of the company are J. N. Parker, president, Boston, Mass., representing the eastern manufacturers; G. F. Brunt, of this city, vice president; Frank Milligan, of the Unites States Porcelain Co., of New Cumberland, W. Va., and Findlay, O., secretary, and Geo. O. Anderson, treasurer; S. C. Dyke, of the Electric Porcelain Co., will be general manager of the company. A main office will be opened in this city, which will be in charge of George Anderson and Frank Milligan. An eastern office will also be maintained in Trenton. As a result of the consolidation a wholesale chopping of heads of respective office forces will occur.
