DELEGATES TO

CONVENTION.

Dan Hemingray Presides

Over Kenton-Co. Mass

Meeting.

Covington Turner Hall was crowded this afternoon with Republicans of Covington and Kenton-co., who were there to take part in the naming of delegates to the Republican State Convention, which will be held next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in Louisville.

Dan Hemingray, the temporary Chairman, called the convention to order.   John Shepard was temporary Secretary. Both positions were made permanent at once.

Committees on resolutions and the naming of delegates were approved, and they left the hall where they executed their work and in a few moments returned. In the meantime short speeches were made.

The committee on resolutions brought in a report indorsing the administration of President Theo. Roosevelt, after which the committee on delegates submitted a list of names which were selected.

The delegates were instructed to vote for A. E. Wilson, of Louisville, for Governor.
