The prescription glassblowers' strike promises to be long. The various Glassworkers' Unions throughout the country have subscribed $50,000 to aid the strikers, and blowers working in other cities have agreed to give, if necessary, the proceeds of one day's work each week for the same purpose. Manufacturers are firm, and a bitter contest is anticipated.
