Company organized in Medicine Hat to make pottery

Information from Medicine Hat is to the effect that a company has been organized there for the manufacture of a general line of pottery and will be ready for operations in the fall. The details of the line to be made are not announced, and there is much speculation as to just what the announcement means. Little if any American tableware is imported into the great northwest (we believe that is the correct expression) and the new pottery will have no influence on American ware. However, the German makers who have been competing with the Stafforshire men in their own colonies with the English product will doubtless feel the influence of the innovation, which after all depends very largely on the supply of skilled workers who may be induced to go to Medicine Hat for employment.
