Factories now in operation, Bushwick listed

A manufacturer gives the following list of the factories East now operating with "free" blowers: Cumberland Glass Co., Bridgeton, N. J., four furnaces in operation; Moore, Jonas & Moore, one furnace in operation, two about starting; Fairton Glass Co., Fairton, N. J., one furnace; Gaynor Glass Works, Salem, N. J., two furnaces; Whitney Glass Works, Glassboro, N. J., three furnaces; Moore Bros., Clayton, N. J., three furnaces; Bodine, Thomas & Co., Williamstown, N. J., four furnaces; Mason Fruit Jar Co., Philadelphia, Pa., two furnaces; Stroudsburg Glass Co., Stroudsburg, Pa., one furnace; Bushwick Glass Works, Brooklyn, two furnaces; Poughkeepsie Glass Works, Poughkeepsie, N. Y., two furnaces; Binghamton Glass Co., Binghamton, N. Y., one furnace; making twenty-six furnaces in all now in operation with "free" blowers, and two additional about starting, employing all told about 750 blowers and working very satisfactorily.
