· · INFORMATION comes to us that the Western Union Company have adopted the block-glass hook and rubber insulator, which is like the negroe's white man - "wery onsartin." We hear much praise of the Brooks' insulator and shall be pleased to hear more about it. Will some of our readers cognizant of its excellence give us their views of and experience with it? If the two wires of the above-named company insulated with the Brooks' insulator work as well as we have been informed, why does not this company use it all over its lines? Is it because their economy is iced? · · |
