After the Brunt Pottery

It is stated that a number of parties have been looking over the plant of the Brunt Pottery Co. at East Liverpool with a view to buying it, which leads to the belief that there will be bidders when it is sold by the trustees this month. The plant is modern in every way, well located and fitted out with the latest machinery. The appraisement is looked upon as low for a pottery which for so many years was before the public, while the real estate is considered a valuable manufacturing site. It has been suggested that it would make an admirable sanitary ware pottery, and as there are no plants of that character in the immediate East Liverpool district it is possible that some far seeing manufacturer may take it over for that purpose. The absence of sanitary potteries from a district so filled with clay industries has often been the subject of remark.
