In Its New Home.

The General Porcelain Co., which moved one of its plants from East Liverpool to Parkersburg, has started construction upon the second unit of its big plant, which when completed will be 500 by 300 feet in extent, and employ about 1,000 operatives. The company already has in operation 250 men and 250 girls, says an exchange. The first unit of the plant consists of 12 kilns, one-third larger in size than usual, and the plant will exhibit an outlay of $45,000 when completed and embrace the construction of seven plants.
