May Build Porcelain Plant.

It was reported in East Liverpool last week that a party of local capitalists had under advisement the formation of a company to manufacture electric porcelains. The factory, it was said, was to be erected in East Liverpool or in one of the pottery towns of that district, and was to make all kinds of porcelains for use in this country, but particularly for the export trade. Export in this instance means Canada, which buys a large amount of its porcelains fro mthis [sic] from this country. The recent prounounced prosperity of the largest electrical porcelain manufacturing concerns in the country has led to the belief that there is ample room in the trade for additional factories. A feature of the proposed plant will be the size of the kilns which will be much larger than those used in general ware potteries.
