The well known Laetus Club gave a reception last night at Odd Fellows Hall, which was attended by fashionable society young people of Covington. Cincinnati and Newport were also well represented. The toilets of the ladies were in exquisite taste, and of course the young gentlemen wore the conventional full dress. The scene was animated and brilliant, the dancing graceful, and the music excellent — in fact, it was a recherché affair throughout. Elegant refreshments were served by Lehman. The lady patronesses were: Mesdames H. H. Prettyman, F. A. Laidley, Robert C. Hemingray, M. D. Thompson, J. M. Blackburn, and R. F. Caldwell. The committee consisted of Messrs. Alex McDonald, Clifford J. Hudson, and Clifford E. Hamilton.
