A regular meeting of the City Council of Covington, Ky., was held in Council Chamber Thursday evening, June 12, 1884, President Colfin in the chair and all members present except Mr. Cleary.

Minutes of last meeting read and approved.

President Colfin presented an ordinance signed by Robt. Hemingray, A. Murry, R. W. Dugan, J. L. Stephens, and R. G. Hemingray, ordaining that they be vested with full privilege of using the streets, avenues, alleys, lanes, and public places of the city of Covington for the purpose of conducting natural gas for public and private use in said city, for heating and motive power only, form date for a period of twenty-five years. Referred to Committee on Law.
