MRS. MARY CROSS, colored, who was sentenced in the Criminal Court the 27th of November 1882, to twelve month's imprisonment in the jail and fined $500 for shoothing at Mr. Ralph Hemingray, will be released from jail August 3d. The fine kept her in jail 250 days, and together with the sentence made one year and eight months. She has been in durance vile all that time, and no doubt will enjoy her liberty when she gets out.
