Mr. Dan Hemingray was visited at his father's residence last evening by surprise party, in honor of this twenty-second birthday. Dancing and music were the order of the evening. The young host was presented, among other offerings, with an elegant gold watch and chain by his sister, Mrs. Bradford Shinkle.
