The decline in the Ohio at this point is marked by the following figures:

3 p.m. .............. 64 ft     1/2 in

6 p.m. .............. 63 ft   9 1/2 in

12 midnight ........... 63 ft   3 in

Saturday 1 a.m. .... 63 ft   2 in

Showing a fall of 3 feet 2 inches.

Some alarm is created by the announcement that the river will probably commence rising to-night. This is based on the rain last night and reports from above. At Pittsburgh last night stationary but a rise expected. Rising at Wheeling, Marietta, Parkersburg, Charleston, and Pomeroy.
