Receiver Appointed.

On a petition filed in common pleas court Wednesday by the creditors of the Ohio Valley Glass Co., at Pleasant City, a number of whom are employes of the company, asking that a receiver be appointed for the company. Judge Markey appointed Revere Heade of this city, as receiver and he furnished bond in the sum of $10,000.

The petition asking for the appointment of a receiver alleges that the indebtedness of the company amounts to almost $10,000, about $1,500 of which is due to the employes of the company. The Ohio Valley Glass Co. commenced operations about three years ago and the plant valued at about $15,000. It was operated by Chicago and Cincinnati capitalists.

Attorney John P. Turner represents the interests of about forty of the employes, and was in Pleasant City Wednesday evening attending a meeting of creditors.
