The Diamond Glass Co., Montreal, Can., closed their factory on Feb. 4, 1899, to install Owens machines for the manufacture of lamp chimneys, tumblers, and vaseline jars. The change was not satisfactory to the blowers, most of whom returned to their homes in the United States.
