REPORTED CLOSING DENIED
Rumors circulated generally in Rochester during the last week that the H. C. Fry Glass Co.'s plant would close down in two weeks are emphatically denied by officials of the company, who say the plant will continue working three-fourths time until January 1. One department is to be closed, but this does not affect the plant proper. Lack of orders and the difficulty of getting the finer grades of raw materials have forced the plant to reduce the working capacity.
