PERSONAL MENTION

Ted Fry, the brilliant star fullback of the University of Pittsburg football team, and grandson of H. C. Fry, president of the H. C. Fry Glass Co., Rochester, Pa., has announced that he has quit the game. Mr. Fry was one of the leading players on the team in 1914 and 1915, and was expected to remain with the gridiron warriors this year at least, but he has changed his plans, and will not be able to take any part in football, as he will take up special courses either here or at Harvard, preparatory to becoming associated with his grandfather in business on the completion of his college education.
