Bauge, France plant of Pilkington destroyed

PILKINGTON BAUGE PLANT

REPORTED AS DEMOLISHED.


From a representative of the firm it is learned that the big factory of the Pilkington company, located at Bauge, France, has been destroyed. The big English company had located an immense plant at Bauge, which is a town of 5,000 inhabitants, situated in the department of the Maine-et-Loire, 22 miles northeast of the city of Angers.

The company is said to have received the bad news that the plant has been so badly damaged during the recent fighting that it is practically demolished.
