Glass Workers on the

Tariff Question.


A communication has been received by the American Flint Glassworkers' convention, in session at Odd Fellows' Temple, from the National Association of Pressed and Blown Glass Manufacturers, urging co-operation on the tariff question. It was signed by D. E. Carle, Chairman of a special committee, who asked for a committee of three to set with a similar committee from his organization.

Friday was devoted to separate sessions of committees representing the 13 trade divisions, who discussed technical matters and the new wage scale.

R. H. Mansberger, of Coraopolis, Pa., is Chairman of a committee to consider a trip to Mammoth Cave to spend Sunday.
