Mrs. Edward Grant, of Greenup Street, entertained with a beautiful noon luncheon at the Inverness Country Club Tuesday of 14 covers in compliment to her guest, Mrs. Fitch, of Boston, and Mrs. Munson, of Philadelphia. The tale, which was set in the cozy dining room, was artistically arranged, with a low center piece of maiden-hair fern and tall vases at either end, filled with snowballs and purple iris. The guests were Mesdames Fitch, Munson, John Underwood, William Perkins, Edward Grant, James Greer, D. Linn Gooche, James B. Daniels, W. McKee, Wm. Hunt, Daniel Hemingray; Misses Mary T. Hall, Kate Scudder, and Jeanie McKee.
