The Thomas china plant in Lisbon, OH will soon be ready for operation

Work at the Lisbon (O.) pottery is rapidly progressing, and the plant will soon be ready for operation. The east section, which will be two stories high, is now ready for the roof, and the west end of the building will be three stories and the workmen are now laying brick on the second story. The big boilers and engines have arrived and also considerable other stuff, including molds for making ware. The straw house, which is a frame building, has been completed, and is a structure about 60 feet in length. The molds will be made in this building pending the completion of the pottery plant.
