List of Those Men Who, It Is

Hoped, Will Serve in November.


The Kenton County Election Commissioners, at their meeting in Sheriff McInerney's office Thursday, transacted a large amount of business, naming the election officers for every precinct in the city and county. The meeting was fairly peaceable and everything went smoothly.

About the only snag that was struck was in the Second Ward, where in one precinct Commissioner Kennedy, Republican, flatly refused to agree to name any person on the Democratic list. After some little wrangling, Democratic Member Lemker named some man outside the list.

The next meeting of the Commissioners will take place Saturday morning at 9 o'clock.

The board confined its labors on Thursday to selecting two Democrats and two Republicans in each precinct. Today it will designate their duties for each precinct. Each party will have a Judge, and one will have a Clerk while the other has a Sheriff.
