Thos. Porter, of Greenup Street, who has been here for a few days, is looking quite hale again after having undergone a severe operation several weeks ago. Mr. Porter leaves Friday for Louisville, where he will join Mrs. Porter, who is visiting relatives there. They will return home next week.
