Only two accidents were reported at the Victor celebration on the Fourth, Louis Locke, a young son of Fred M. Locke, lighted a cannon firecracker and failed to get far enough away from it before it exploded, filling his face and eyes with powder. He was temporarily blinded, but it is not thought that he will lose his sight.
