FLAG TO GO UP AT BIG LIMA CONCERN Elaborate Program Offered for Demonstration.
Lima, May 15. - Lima plant of the Locke Insulator Manufacturing Company will be the Mecca of the surrounding towns next Saturday. At 4 o'clock the employees will raise their large flag on the sixty-five-foot steel pole, erected by their employers. An address will be made by James M. Heath, of Honeoye Falls. Dr. Early D. Shepard, president of Genesee Wesleyan Seminary, will offer prayer. A pleasant feature of the program will be the singing of the Festival Male Quartette, of Rochester, under the direction of Charles D. Vickers, who will also lead in chorus singing. Honeoye Falls Band will render patriotic music. Arrangements are being made to have the schools of Lima attend in a body. This will be an ideal motor trip for people of other villages, as the pretty village of Lima is favored with one of the best sections of state road to be found anywhere. Employees and employers of Lima's great plant have spared nothing to make this a pleasant and inspiring hour for all who come to rally round their flag. |
