LOCAL SUITS ENTERED.


For Superior Court. Osgood Sues City

For Damages.


 

Monday was entry day for the superior court at Pittsfield, and the following cases of local interest were entered:

Samuel Oakman of Cheshire sues William B. Baldwin and Richard A. Burget and the ab dannum is $25,000. The suit grows out of the operating of a glass plant at Cheshire and in which Mr. Baldwin had some finanical interest. Oakman owned the patents and had put considerable money into the venture. Frank A. Walker sues Elmer D. Rice of this city on an account of $75.

Thomas Osgood sues the city of North Adams for injuries receivied while driving on the tunnel road. John F. Conlin and others sue Mary A. Craven to secure three years rent of certain property at $125 a month in this city. Annie Clifford, administratix of the late James Clifford of Lenox, sues W. G. Cady of this city on a lumber account of some $1,200. Mathias Brown sues E. B. Penniman of this city on accouof $592 for labor, etc. Helen A. Anthony, adminstratix, sues Charles H. Hathaway of Adams on account of some goods sold amounting to $469.
