Operating Steady in Montreal.
Montreal, Can., Oct. 13. — In Montreal one plant is in operation this season. The Dominion Glass Co. started Sept. 9 with eight hand blown shops, one lantern globe machine, and four Owens machines working full capacity. At the present time we have plenty of small help.
The Consumers Glass Co., Ltd., at St. Pierre, started with four O'Neil machines and four hand blown shops. Everything is going nicely there, too, and all the men are very well satisfied. The firm expect to start one other tank on Oct. 15.
