Among the popular brides of the holiday season who are being showered with numerous entertainments is Miss May Clarkson, the bride-elect of Harry Percival, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Clarkson, of Madison Avenue. The round of festivities in her honor will begin on Friday evening with a dinner given by Mrs. George Clarkson of East Third Street; Miss Lydia Shinkle of Scott Street, will entertain with cards on Dec. 22; Miss Pearl Carpenter with cards on New Year's; Miss Alice Allen of Walnut Hills, a luncheon on Jan. 5; Miss McFarland, of Cincinnati, on Jan. 7, and Mrs. Edgar Evans a euchre in January.
