LABOR NOTES AT MUNCIE.
MUNCIE, Ind., July 24. — There is a rumor that the Midland steel works, with its 800 employees, will start up again on Monday. There had also been a rumor that the Indiana iron works, which employs 600 men, will be idle for three more months, the reason being no orders. Hemingray's glass works and the Muncie glass works will resume by the middle of August.
