Crapo — Kitzelman.
A wedding of widespread interest to many Fort Wayne friends took place in Muncie on Saturday evening, when Miss Mildred Kitselman, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Maitland Kitselman, of that city, was united in marriage with Mr. Frederick Martin Crapo, of Terre Haute. The nuptials were solemnized in the Grace Episcopal church, the Rev. Father Marshall M. Day performing the impressive double ring ceremony before a large number of guests. The bridal attendants were Miss Eleanor Spencer, Miss Ruth Stone, Miss Wanita Fredericks, of Kokomo, a cousin of the bride, and Miss Agnes Smith, another cousin of the bride, who served as maid of honor. Mr. George Crapo, of Philadelphia, was best man and the Messrs. Warren Hustey and William McKeen, of Terre Haute and Rodney Marsh serves as ushers. Mr. and Mrs. Crapo, after the ceremony, left on a trip to Ashville, N. C., spending two weeks at Grove Park Inn. She is also a member of the Psi Iota Xi sorority of Muncie. Mr. Crapo has been in Muncie two years and during that time has made his home with his cousin, Mrs. Ralph Hemingray. He was graduated in electrical engineering from the Rose Polytechnic Institute at Terre Haute and later did post graduate work in Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Boston. He is a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He is connected in business with the Hemingray Glass company. The Kitzelman [sic] Kitselman summer home is at Rome City, where both Mr. and Mrs. Crapo have met many of Fort Wayne's younger set. |
