Mother Singers Hold Official Installation
Mrs. J. Frank Ferguson was hostess to members of the Mother Singers in her new home on the Waterford Road Wednesday. Mrs. L. K. Woodruff, director, received a gift from the group prior to her leaving for Pennsylvania Wednesday evening. Mrs. Ferguson received a gift for her home from the members and Mrs. Elizabeth De Witt was honored with a gift in appreciation of her cooperation during the year. New officers were installed by Mrs. Katherine Hogan. They include Mesdames James Hagoplan, president; Ann Starr, vice president; Susan Starr, secretary; Lillian Flynn, treasurer; Sarah Thomas, music supervisor; Cico Mello, press coorespondent; Dona Ferguson, historian; De Witt, Lillie Bleike, Laura Grandt, and Hogin, advisory board. Mrs. Laura Harper Kline and Mrs. W. F. Green invited the group to their homes in September and October, respectively. The group will meet next Saturday for an informal session. |
