Our neighbor the Republican, gave a very good advertising account of the celebrated Valverde Glass Works in its last Sunday's issue. Plate 1st is the opening view and represents a man blowing glass with his right hand, failing in this legerdemain trick he is represented in Plate 2d as trying to "blow" with his neck. Plate 3d represents a "molding boy" apparently fishing with a short pole on which is suspended a bottle. Plate 4th represents the "Glory hole," probably one of Chivington's Sand creek heroes. The whole of this "Deus ex machina" is a solitary glass blower, and he does not seem loaded down with work; it is altogether an admirably article which could be put under the head of "Blowing."
