The National Convention in Session in

the Eastern District — The Delegates

go to Coney Island.

 

The annual convention of the American Flint Glass Workers of the Unites States and Canada is now in Military Hall, on Seholes street, corner of Leonard, Eastern District. The convention comprises ninety delegates, representing an equal number of societies. The session was opened on Monday morning, with John W. Brennan, the national president, in the chair and George W. Payne recording. They will not cease their deliberations before Saturday night. Matters of moment to the trade are under discussion.

The delegates, at the invitation of Branch No. 1, of Brooklyn, went to Coney Island on an excursion today. They intend viewing all the places of interest at the beach.
