Inventor, Is Dead

 

Victor, April 16 — Fred M. Locke, inventory of the porcelain insulator and oven glass, died here yesterday. He was 69.

Mr. Locke retired from active business in 1904, devoting all his time to laboratory work and leaving the management of the Victor plant, the largest insulator plant in the world, to a son, Fred J. Locke, who died March 7. Another plant of the concern is located in Baltimore.

Besides two sons in Victor, he leaves two others, Morton F. of Dobbs Ferry and Peer Locke of Ravenna, O.
