TWO INJURED BY

OVEN EXPLOSION

New Freedom — An explosion of undetermined origin early Sunday morning injured two men, one probably seriously, and ruined a valuable electric oven at the American Insulator plant at New Freedom. There was no damage to the building and no fire following the explosion.

The injured men, employees of the plant, are: David Doxzen, Hoffmansville, Maryland, who suffered a possible fracture of the skull, when he was struck by a flying fragment, and Harry O'Keefe, New Freedom, who sustained a bruise to his right leg when he ran into an object as he attempted to escape.
