A Massachusetts Failure.

The Oakman Mfg. Co., of Cheshire, Mass., manufacturers of a patent carboy and operating two 5 ton tanks, have failed and the plant is closed. They filed a schedule of liabilities and assets. The liabilities amount to about to $40,000, and the assets consist of all the property and stock at Cheshire, and it is thought will hardly cover the debts. A settlement with the creditors may be made and the plant put in operation again, but it is rather doubtful.
