Researcher notes:The referenced issue of "The Inland Architect and Builder" contained one page of architect sketches depicting homes in and around Cincinnati. The caption "Our Illustrations" was on the following page 42. The home shown on the right is the Daniel C. Hemingray home; the one on the left was the home of Richard G. Evans. These buildings are found on Greenup Street in Covington, Kentucky. They remain standing today. I have been through both and the Daniel Hemingray home is essentially the same as it was when built. The Richard G. Evans home now serves as an apartment dwelling; however, it is still pretty much structurally the same. The exteriors of both homes remain unchanged. The notes on the drawing read: 1. "Houses in Covington, Ky., Mr. L. T. Plympton, Agent;" and 2. "Some picturesque bits about Cincinnati, Ohio."
