Yesterday afternoon quite a number of Mrs. Isted's friends called to see her at Mrs. Manser's for as Miss Hood, no Covington young lady was more popular, and her friends were glad to welcome her return to her old home. She was gowned in a black satin skirt and a handsome black and pink stripped silk waist, trimmed with jet. Her beautiful golden hair was arranged high, with a handsome steel comb, and was very becoming. Mrs. Manser, black silk, brocaded and blue bodice adorned with lace. Miss Fannie, blue and black silk, black satin waist trimmed with jet. Miss Coffee, black skirt and pretty pink silk waist, white lace. Among the many that called were: Miss Lida Matthews< Mrs. Trimble, Colonel and Mrs. Lewis Casey, Miss Earl, Miss Brent, Miss Lillie Gedge, Mrs. Ed Worrall, Mrs. Bennett, Mrs. Asa Gatewood, Mrs. Julius Gedge, Mrs. Stougton, Mrs. Comingore, Mrs. Baldridge, Mrs. O. P. Schmidt, Mrs. Carey, and many others.
