Personals. · · The initiating dance of the Cinderella Club last evening was a most enjoyable one. If others are to be a facsimile, the young set have a royal time in store for them. There was a western air pervading the assembly, as it was readily noticed that the handsome men were in the ascendancy outnumbering the fair maidens. Mrs. Frank Perkins and Mrs. Benjamin Hay were the chaperones. Mrs. Perkins was gowned in a handsome black and gray striped silk, adorned with duchesse lace. Mrs. Hay in a black satin gown adorned with blue ribbon and trimmed with point lace, diamond ornaments. Mrs. James H. Rust, blue and white stripped gown of cloth, trimmed with point lace. The guests were Miss Bowman, cream silk skirt, brocaded with pink and yellow roses, soft pink silk waist, hair arranged high, pink plumes, a very becoming toilet to a pretty school girl; Miss Maude Mayberry, white organdie, dresden figures, pink ribbons and lace; Miss Winslow, white organdie, white satin sash; Miss Dwight, changeable blue and steel silk, black velvet trimmings and white lace; Miss Ottie Carpenter, light blue chiffon and lace; Miss Fisher, light blue silk, combined with black velvet, a very stylish dress; Miss Grace Culbertson, black molre antique, with lovely shade of green trimmings; Miss Fannie Michaels, black silk shirt, yellow satin waist, enveiled in black chiffon, edged with white lace; Miss Nellie Hansom, black silk skirt, lovely blue silk waist and chiffon; Miss Williams, white silk mull over white satin; Miss Anderson, Cincinnati, white India mull, lace and blue satin decorations; Miss Lena Roberts, white silk and white satin adornments; Miss Nina Brandeberry, street dress, tailor made, hat en suite. The men were: Messrs. Robert Crigler, Brandeberry, Ritter, Caper, Henry Cavett, White, William Derrett, Edgar Evans, McMillen, Roberts, Mr. Brandeberry, of Denver, Harris, Young, Wallace, Crigler, Fisher, Water Semple, and others. · · |
