Boston, March 4. — John P. Parker, a wire manufacturer, doing business under the firm name of C. S. Knowles, of Chelsea, New Bedford and Youngstown, Ohio, filed a voluntary petition in bankruptcy today with liabilities of [dollar: $477,951] and assets of [dollar: $449,323].

The secured claims amount to [dollar: $105,450], and the unsecured to [dollar: $304,347]. The largest unsecured creditors are J. H. Parker & Co. of Chelsea, [dollar: $78,007], the Republic Iron and Steel Co. of New York, [dollar: $30,563]; and John A. Roebling & Sons Co. of New York, [dollar: $31,286].
