Boston, March 4. — John P. Parker, a wire manufacturer, doing business under the firm name of C. S. Knowles, of Chelsea, New Bedford and Youngstown, Ohio, filed a voluntary petition in bankruptcy today with liabilities of $477,951 and assets of $449,323.

The secured claims amount to $105,450, and the unsecured to $304,347. The largest unsecured creditors are J. H. Parker & Co. of Chelsea, $78,007, the Republic Iron and Steel Co. of New York, $30,563; and John A. Roebling & Sons Co. of New York, $31,286.
