BECOMES SECRETARY

OF POTTERY COMPANY.

Charles G. O'Bleness, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry O'Bleness of this city, has recently been made secretary of the Bell Pottery Company of Findlay, with which he has been connected for the past year. In speaking of the promotion of Mr. O'Bleness, the Findlay Republican has the following to say:

"W. L. McLure has severed his connection as secretary and treasurer of the Bell Pottery company. He is succeeded by Charles G. O'Bleness, a young man who has been identified with the concern about a year.

"Mr. O'Bleness, Mr. McLure's successor, is another young man of unusual ability. Before identifying himself with the Bell Pottery company he served with great success as advertising solicitor of The Republican. Few realize the extend of the responsibility of the position that has fallen to the lot of the new incumbent to fill. In addition to the Findlay plant there is another concern fully twice as large practically completed in Columbus that will be managed by the same company. The pottery now under construction at Columbus is to cost $200,000 for the building alone. The first ware will be made in October. All the important transactions, such as paying the bills and the like, are made through the Findlay office."
